We're always up for new locations, and when Katie said they want engagement photos on their grandfather's (~800 acre) farm, we were intrigued. However, on the way to this session, it started sprinkling. The forecast was calling for 60% chance of rain, but we decided to take our chances anyway. One side of the sky was black, and the other side had puffy, white clouds and bright sun. I kept praying that the exact spot where the session would take place there would be no rain for just 30 minutes.

God heard my prayer! As soon as we were finished, we heard cries of thunder. Yet, the rain held out and we had the chance to capture this adorable couple. And if you're paying close attention, we even caught some shots with a rainbow!
