I am so excited to announce that we will now feature a blog post for each wedding and session! No worries, we will still upload full galleries on our website, but the blog will contain our absolute favorites.

Each person has a story to tell and we are here to capture your memories. Yes, there are the posed shots, but we are also here to capture the real moments. Those are absolutely priceless, if you ask me. We love to get to know our clients, so if you see a Facebook request from Marta Pod, don't be surprised. For all our wedding couples, we love to sit down over a cup of coffee (or tea, whichever you prefer), and discuss what exactly you want to happen on your big day. We don't want to miss a thing!

While he was only 10 years old, he started tinkering with cameras and lenses with his dad. Photography was always a passion of his. When he's not shooting people, he loves to whip out the camera and capture hawks, eagles, deer, spiders, airplanes, and whatever it is that boys like. And until National Geographic calls him and offers him a photography position, he will stick around here, in the Shenandoah Valley.

I also loved photography from a young age. Unfortunately, I was limited to point and shoot cameras. However, my passion lie in editing the photos. Photoshop was my favorite computer program. I needed nothing else.

I also love people. I thrive when there are human beings around me. So if you're a human being, and you want some photos for yourself, don't hesitate to let me know.

Together, we make our photography team called Yev Studios, obviously.

Some quick facts:

We met August 8, 2009

Got engaged October 10, 2009 (yes, that's only 2 months later)

Tied the knot June 5, 2010 (yes, that's less than a year after we met)

Bought our first photography equipment July 29, 2012

Live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley

But we love to travel 

Have two kiddos, Matthew and Milana

They keep our lives busy and interesting

And most importantly of all, we LOVE Jesus

Svetlana & Mikhael:

In addition to our photography services, a couple other people who occasionally join our team are Yev's sister, Svetlana and Yev's dad, Mikhael. Svetlana designs customized wedding invitations and Mikhael is our videographer.
